THREAD ROULETTE SUB-PLOT
An electromagnetic storm has debilitated the effectiveness of magic, and in some cases completely preventing it from occurring. In your thread have your characters react to life without magic, even if it is only while the storm is above them. This would effect everyone, even those outside of Hogwarts, and would probably be a simultaneous event to a certain degree. Have fun with it and use it as an opportunity to get to know people on the site!

ENTRANCE HALL The entrance hall at Hogwarts is vast and leads to many different rooms on the ground floor, such as the Great Hall, Professor's Lounge, and Headmaster's Office.
CORRIDORS AND STAIRCASES Walk to and from class, talk with your friends, or navigate the changing staircases - just make sure to pay attention so you don't get lost.
THE CLASSROOMS Come here to learn how to put a stopper in death, transfigure a cup into an animal, or tame a Hippogriff - just make sure you're not late!
THE COMMON ROOMS Whether you're in Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin you can find your common room here. Relax with your friends, study, or play game of wizard's chess.
EXTRA ROOMS Looking for the library, the hospital wing, the room of requirement, or even a spare classroom to practice your newly learned spells? You'll be able to find what you're looking for here.
THE TOWERS Hogwarts towers are the highest points of the school. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs before you reach your destination. If you're looking for The Owlery, or The Astronomy tower you can find it here.
THE GROUNDS Need a bit of fresh air? Dip your feet into the Black Lake, study under a tree in the courtyard, or make a dangerous trip into the Forbidden Forest. No matter what you decide, you're bound to find an adventure outside the castle walls.
DIAGON ALLEY Tap the bricks with your wand behind the Leaky Cauldron to enter Diagon Alley, the place to get all of your supplies or anything else you may need.
